When you book me, I know you want something you're going to love. It's more than a tick box exercise for you, beautiful photography is a priority, so I put a lot of love and work to create photographs that you are excited to see after the day. It's about creating photographs that your friends and families are desperate to see and you can't wait to show them.
Photography should be fun. It should surprise you. It should remind you of things that even a week later seem to have become a haze of dream-like memories. It should bring the moments back and make them feel as clear and vivid as it was at the time. It should be about having a photographer who just works away and makes you feel comfortable and at ease.
That's what I want for each of my couples. Beautiful, natural and fun photographs, filled with spontaneous and serendipitous memories you won't find in a checklist.
If it's really important to have wonderful photographs that you love, there's a range of different options to suit depending on your needs.
Yes! I work alone, so the second photographer is always an optional extra for my Svalbard, Senja and Loppa collections for couples who would like a bit more extra coverage on their day.
All my second photographers are professional wedding photographers, and I will work with them to create a seamless edit of your final images.
Perfect for couples planning a large wedding, having a day split across different locations, or those who want an extra dimension to their day.
Travel is included in the price, up to 70 miles from Lenzie. For weddings further away, there's an additional charge for travel. Overnight accomodation is dependent on location. For venues that are more than 2.5 hours drive from Lenzie, I like to arrive fresh faced and bright eyed so overnight accomodation is required.
I don't sell albums with my packages at the time of booking. I prefer for couples to wait until after they've received their wedding photographs to decide which album they feel is the best fit for them.
I freeze the price of my albums at the time of booking for up to six months after your wedding date to give you time to think and reflect which album or book you want to order. It makes a perfect first anniversary keepsake!
Weekends in summer are a popular time for weddings! As such, I prefer to reserve those dates for full day packages for longer term bookings - if it's more than three months in advance.
If you're planning something a bit sooner (three months or under!) then drop me a line. I may still have availability on your date, and I do love last minute bookings!
I'm half Norwegian so I decided to name the wedding packages after places in Norway.
Svalbard is a big arctic island with polar bears.
Senja, the second largest island in Norway, so it's the second largest package option.
Loppa - a small and wonderful island (and very pretty!) close to my grandparents home in Norway.
Å, a very beautiful village on the scenic Lofoten islands.
You and Me sessions meanwhile are named because that's who is involved - you and me.
I love first looks at weddings! They're a brilliant option if you'd prefer to have a few moments alone before your ceremony. From personal experience, I think they can take the edge off the nerves and it's a lovely memory.
If you'd like to do a first look, I recommend booking a second photographer. Get in touch and we can chat a bit more about it.
First of all, get in touch. I'll reply and let you know if I'm available.
For weddings, I always like to chat with couples before they book, whether it's face to face or via Skype if you don't live locally. If that all goes well, and we're clicking, then the next step is to fill out the contract and pay a retainer.
I don't reserve or hold dates without a retainer and contract in place, but if you're still thinking about it (and keeping contact with me) and someone else gets in touch, I'll let you know. I work on a first come, first served basis, so the date goes to the couple who fill out the contract and pay the retainer first.
